I'm back! ...and I'll PROBABLY be gone, most likely for good.

Like what the title says above.  I'm VERY sorry that I haven't been on for quite a long time~  But I thank  you to those who have been keeping tabs with my xanga site.

However, as short as it is for me to come back here, I'm afraid to say that I might be leaving this place...permanently.  Why you ask?  Because I just can't keep up with my xanga updates anymore.  I really don't have the energy to keep on doing this everytime.  So until then, I'm going to leave this up:

But there's a possibility that I might be coming back even after I said this...it's just that I won't be coming back anytime soon (and we're not talking about a months worth of hiatus...I'm talking about years).

Fortunately, I won't be gone from the online world, I can assure you that.  There are two places I go to now:

And last...Tales of Pirates = Its an MMORPG.  I haven't tried out this game yet, but I find it very intriguing, and I'm thinking about playing this game sometime later on during the summer.  If you guys want to try this game out and tell me what's the game like, then go to this website (http://www.talesofpirates.com/) and try out the game.

Okay, I'm going to make this entry pretty short because of one thing and one thing only:

Today's my birthday today~ *throws a chair into the crowd*

But yeah, I officially turned 19 years old today (oh good Lord, I'm getting old), and I'll keep this blog entry as simple as possible since I'm going somewhere~

Art Update

I finally finished colouring the Pani Poni Dash! board a couple of weeks ago, and I'm really proud of how it looks.  (Kyio's already seen this, and she liked it...I think, lol.)

The actual size for this drawing (in computer dimension) is 2688 x 2688, so you can see as to how big it is if you try to print it out~  But overall, all of the people I've shown this to (both IRL and online) have loved this piece of artwork.  And my family and I have been thinking about getting Parker Brothers and Square Enix's permission to sell this to the public.  And if they say yes, then alot of mula will be going my way, whoo!

Well, that's pretty much the main update I wanted to give.  And oh yeah, and to continue with the ranting comment I did a couple of weeks ago, I just wanted to say to those who DID follow my little guideline:  Thank you...thank you, thank you for respecting my wishes.  I really appreciate it very much~  It was during that day when I had a fever, so it most likely drove me insane for a bit. 

Though of course a couple of people didn't follow the guidelines even after I put it in bold colour fonts.  One person said she was going emo on everybody, so hell if I know about what's going on with her.  But since I commented to her first and she just replied to what I said, I'll let that slide.  But if she does that again...she's gonna get it, and I don't care if she goes super-emo on me~ 

(I'm going to warn you guys now.  I'm going to be ranting about this next person alot, so skip the next few paragraphs if you don't want to read me ranting/bagging about this person~  Because seriously...this person just pisses me off that much.)

And then there's this other person who goes to my xanga time to time...only to say "hey how's it goin".  Uhh, did she just totally ignore my warning that I'd go psychotic on the next person who did that?  Well, if she did that when I had a fever, I would have gone jihad-joe on her.  But since I don't have a fever anymore and I'm thinking more civilized now...I just decided to block her~  ^_^ 

I never really did like her "im betta dan u' attitude.  The way she comments me and tells me to look at her drawings has this feeling...as if she's indirectly telling me to my face "I don't care about your drawings, cuz mine's better."  I tried giving her pointers awhile back, but she didn't take it.  Her drawings still look like anime characters that have been thrown up on with black vomit.  And the way she creates blog entries...  I'll let you decide on that.  There was this one blog entry that kind of showed her true nature...and here's an example that's so bad that I couldn't make this up even if I could.

"Tday went alright. The best part that happen was the 2 fight in the mornin there was fight on the D-hall and then in the afternoon when school was over. Oh Shyt! There hold crowed around these 2 guy that were fightin in the afternoon. Dang! Then when the person move the fight over, ppl start comin in fast tryin 2 c the fight. Everybody kept pushin each other. Whoa ppl! After that 4 teacher came and broke up the fight. Everybody was talkin bou the fight that jus happen on the bus. I miss the one in the mornin yet afternoon made it up."

Hello??  Do you hear yourself talking?  And you love to see fights?  Well that would explain why you look busted up yourself when you posted your IRL pic on your xanga site.  You're the kind of people I hate in this world.

Currently watching today: Nothing!

I'm feeling a little down in the weather at the moment, bleh~  I received my older brother's sickness, and I blame him for that...ugh~

Real Life Update

I actually talked to one of my old high school friends online last night, and it was pretty damn awesome to know that he's back to watching anime~  Unfortunately (for me), he's more of an anime/videogame geek than I am, which is...very surprising.  (I really need to keep myself updated with the anime times~)

But anywho, me, him, and another old high school friend of mine that I haven't talked to for awhile either will be meeting each other this upcoming thursday night, which HOPEFULLY my fever will go down by then~  (I also plan to ditch my Architecture class during this night, woo!)

And oh yeah, I beat Francis' score on several songs in ITG, hehe.  (Not bad for someone who hasn't played DDR/ITG for a couple of years, huh?)  And I'm still trying to get 1st place on the song Infection expert mode.  (I'm telling you, I can see the arrows through the retarded bombs; it's the fact that I don't have the stamina for it~  </3 )  The highest score on Infection expert mode is currently 80.72%, and the highest I can ever get by is 77.14%, eww.  Well, I need to build up some endurance.

I grow weary of this section, let's move on.

Art/Anime Update

Well what do you know?  I combined two updates in one.  How you like that?

Anyway, my obsession for Pani Poni Dash has grown more (which I didn't think was possible), as I'm literally thinking of combining and drawing fanart shows/videogames that Pani Poni should NEVER be combined with.

Example: Using Star War's Darth Vader, and have Ichijou as Darth Vader.  Also, another one would be a reference to Gears of War when Marcus and Dom reach to the pumping station in the caves [where they have to set off the resonator] and they hear a Theron Guard whispering "Hostiles....", and this is how the skit goes:

Dom: You hear that?

Marcus: Its just the wind.

Dom: Yeah, right.  When was the last time the wind said 'Hostiles' to you?

*Instead of a Theron Guard popping out from the column beam hissing at you with a Torque Bow in its hands, this THING does that instead and hides back behind the column beam afterwards*

Dom: Uhhh......what was THAT even a Locust?

Baird: It's called a Mesousa.

Dom: Do you think it knows what we're doing?

Marcus: Well it looks like it's just a bunny.  So I doubt it knows what we're up to.

*pause*

Marcus: Let's clear that station!

*And when the battle begins, Mesousa can't even pick up the Torque Bow, hence, doesn't have thumbs*)

Yeah...I need help.  But not as much help as combining Pani Poni Dash with a little small board game called Monopoly, and calling it...

I've been colouring this drawing for ALMOST a week now, and I'm not even done with it yet.  I add so much detail to every single character face, yet I know for a fact that people won't even notice it.  But still, I chose to add detail to all of them...may as well be consistent with it.  I'll give you the final product next week most likely.

Rant Update

Yeah, a new update on the block, and maybe I might keep this for awhile since it COULD prove useful~

So what am I going to rant about?  Well one thing that's been pissing me off for quite awhile is the people who comment you on xanga.  What's wrong about this you ask?  Well even though they think about you and comment you and everything (which is fine and all), but the problem consists to the fact that at times or most of the times...they won't even bother reading your blog update.

It may not sound like a big deal, because seriously, who likes to read long entries nowadays?  But here's the thing, how would YOU like it if you wrote a very emotional blog update that sounds very problematic and it meant the whole world to you (feeling anger...joy...sorrow...more anger), and you poured out your feelings upon that blog entry.  And all you get is this comment 5 hours later:

"hi how r u today?" [In my mind replying to the comment: How I'm feeling today?  Oh I don't know.  I poured my heart and soul into crying while writing this blog entry.  What the f*** do you think I feel today!?]

I don't know about you, but that would piss me off tremendously.  Or how about this:  You've been talking about a certain subject for almost a month, and then you get a reply saying "hi" Then you go to the person's xanga website and he/she talks about a genre that's comparable to yours.  So you reply to his/her blog entry with an analogy, like "Hahaha!  That show that you talk about reminds me alot about one of these characters I watch from *********"  Then the next day, you get this reply from him/her:

"lolz! Ive never heard of **********...hmm..." [In my mind replying to the comment: Oh gee, you never heard of ************ before, huh?  Even after I've been f***ing talking about it for a good month~  Where the hell have YOU been!?]

I know that may sound very 'immature' of me, but seriously: I took the time to read and talk about YOUR blog entries.  The least YOU can do is talk about some parts of MY blog entry.  

People who aren't my xanga friends who give me these kind of BS comments I understand, since it's their first time seeing my xanga site.

But that's the thing:

These comments I gave examples of came STRAIGHT from my xanga friends list.

The 1st comment was given to me a little while back when I was in my hour of need, and the 2nd comment was given to me while I've been talking about Pani Poni Dash for quite sometime now.

Look...my point for saying all this is that dodging a person's blog entry and talking about something else is like ignoring a person's feelings, and that...hurts~  It hurts alot more than you think.  I do read all of your blog entries, and I try the best I can to stay on that subject.  And if you guys do talk about something that doesn't relate to me and/or I have nothing to say, then I just don't comment at all, since it's none of my business.

So this is going to be my rule for this place from here on out (first time visitors don't need to worry):

- If you wish to comment me, at least comment me about something that I talked about in every blog entry.  (And if you want to add something through your own personal interest but is off-topic from my blog entry, please type down "Off-topic: [insert what you want to say]"

- If you have nothing to say about my blog entry, then please, don't comment me at all.  (That would give to some glimpse of hope~)

- If you DO have something to say that's not related to my blog entry, but it might be considered important or interesting or you just wanted to say hi, then message me, don't comment me~  (To message me, it's on my profile side where it lists the name, gender, interest, and the state you live in; and at the very bottom it says 'message me'.)  If you do that, I will thank you deeply~

And to those who HAVEN'T been reading my blog entries up until now.  There is NO REASON to NOT read this paragraph since it's in COLOR!  Please note that if you don't happen to read this entry and give me some retarded comment like "hey" or "how r u", you WILL get a very Nazi-like comment, bitching at you from left to right from me that could result you from talking with me ever again; and frankly, I could give a f*** anymore.  I'm standing up for my rights of expressing myself. 

But if you do wish to not make me feel angry and still want to be friends after my Hitler comment to you, then please...all I ask is an apology from you and to keep these rules in your mind from here on out. 

And don't think you're the victim and I should apologize to you.  That's gonna be pure bullshit coming from your ass!  I even warned you on this blog entry that I would go Jihad on the next person who would comment me with such remarks.   It's YOUR FAULT for not reading my entry and YOUR FAULT for not reading my warnings!  You have no one to blame but YOURSELF.

Real Life Update

Not that much going on.  My figurative drawing teacher likes my contour drawings as usual, my architecture teacher does not like how I do my architecture homework as usual, need to write up a 3-5 page narrative essay of an epiphany, my art mentor is starting to like my artwork more and more (which is good, because thats the kind of response I was hoping to get from him after all these months!), and my friend Francis wants to learn on how to build upper body strength.

I told him a thousand times to not go immediately with the advanced training and stick with the basics that I taught him, but he doesn't listen to me.  =__="  He goes and tries to perform a handstand, WHICH I tried to tell him that he needs to tone his upper body first before performing such dangerous tasks; oh well, it should be expected of him to act like so.

"Let's move on to the next formula."

Anime Update

So I'm hearing that they're going to be showing Blood+ on Cartoon Network soon, which is cool, because I heard many good things about this anime...yet I never gotten the chance to watch~

But other than that random anime news, I was reading Newtype USA  (an anime magazine) the other day, and I happen to find a free DVD of Disgaea episode 1.  If you've watched this anime before, give me feedback por favor if this anime is good or not.  The videogame intrigued me; so I wish to know about its anime predecessor~  <3

Moving along with what I read on Newtype USA, I read that there's an actual sequel to Kino's Journey, which I'm kind of excited into watching.  (Because of two reasons: One is that I watched the prequel of Kino's Journey on the ImaginAsian network, and I loved the storyline.  And the second reason is because...well...one of the characters is going to star amazing japanese voice actress: Yui Horie, one of the best voice actors to star in any anime, such as Miyako in Pani Poni Dash, and her MORE well known voice acting talent as Ayu Tsukimiya in Kanon~  [Gotta love it when she says "Uguu~"; amazingly cute beyond all reason...and if ANY of you tell that to people that I said that, I will deny it UP AND DOWN, and call you people liars!])

P.S. I still don't know why hardcore anime fans hate the dubbed version of Pani Poni Dash.  The voice acting is very well done compared to the more horrific chicken scratches you hear in most anime shows.  (Oh well, I suppose its because they're dub haters, and just like any hater: "A hater's job is to hate."  I just wish people weren't soo biased...)

Videogame Update

I was browsing youtube a little while ago, and here I come across this guy playing Guitar Hero II playing co-op alone.  =X  (How you play co-op alone you say?  Well...I'll let you figure it out on this vid.)

Sure, it sounds somewhat horrible if you're just a casual viewer who doesn't know much about Guitar Hero, but if you've never heard of the game...either you don't pay attention to videogames that much, or live in the basement eating doritos all day.  O-o  But anywho, in my opinion, this guy's pretty good.  (I don't think I'll be able to pull off that kind of stunt if I were to play Guitar Hero....maybe I'll try it tomorrow or some other time when I get the chance, I don't know, lol.  *Has the game*  =3)

Artwork Update

So it finally comes down to this.  While my artwork is not as great as Nacrym's drawings, I most certainly have learned TONS about using the almighty powers of Photoshop in one to two weeks.  (Note:  This drawing took me one to two weeks to do, because there were details I wanted to add, and mistakes that I wanted to correct~)

This is a 2 hour sketch of my second original character, Mizumaru; and after colouring her with photoshop, she looks MORE badass than she could ever look~

So without further a due, I give you...

MY ARTWORK! MAHO!

And trust me, when I said this took me about a little over a week to make this drawing, it seriously took me a week to finish this drawing.  As each day passed, I learned on how to use photoshop more and more, and so I kept making corrections (example: the face), adding more to the scenery, kept trying on and off to make her hair more realistic (because my mother kept complaining that the hair looked too 2D-ish).  Then I kept playing around with more shadings, trying to make the sky look like the sky, that building in the background look like a busted up crack house, and if you zoom in on the door, you can see on how much detail I tried to put on it, lol.  After all that, I started playing with the light rendering effect and it gave Mizumaru a more lively feeling~  Yay!  <3  (And after having my artwork being finished and done, I sort of hidden my nickname on the drawing just so in case someone tries to perform copyright infringement.)

Overall, I don't care what people say.  I worked OMEGA HARD on this drawing, and I'm very proud of what I was able to accomplish with this being my 2nd Photoshop drawing and what not~

And that's pretty much the end of my adventurous blog for today.  I seriously hope you guys love the artwork I created~  I put my heart and soul into this drawing; and if I "enlightened" you guys with this artwork, then I've done my job~  ^__^  (I mean, I'm not saying this drawing is the best in the world, but compared to the artwork you see on my xanga background, this is a super omega improvement in a short amount of time.)

Bananas~

Boy, I'm seriously wiped out, most likely due to all of the drawings I had to do 4 hours straight tonight~  (Thats Figurative Drawing for you.)

Real Life Update

Well, not much to say in this department...wait a minute, maybe there IS some stuff to talk about here~  My architecture instructor is starting to like how I do my homework now (since it looks cleaner than before), my figurative drawing instructor still likes how I do my artwork (though I think I sort of discouraged him when I started getting a little sloppy as the night progressed [WHICH isn't my fault by the way, because I don't {literally} 30 contour drawings within 4 hours with only 2 minute breaks after every 5]), and I still haven't bought my literature textbook yet for English, lol.  I might need to buy that soon.

My friend, Francis, is trying to get me back to playing DDR.  Good thing too, because I think I might be getting a little overweight.  (I said overweight, not fat; there's a difference...or at least, according to my parents.)  And I can't believe it though, Francis is actually kicking my ass in DDR now.  Well technically its not DDR, its ITG, but still the same thing; ITG's just tougher is all.  Anywho, I better play some more ITG and reclaim my title!  ...maybe, I don't know.  I say alot of things, lol.

My mestre` (brazilian term for master) came by to visit for the weekend to teach me and my class Capoeira, and trust me, this guy...is tough.  Seriously, this guy doesn't kid around when it comes to training; he makes karate look like self-defense for the disabled.  (Although he DID say he used to be in the military...) 

Anywho, mestre` told us what and what not to do, otherwise if we did it wrong, any person on the street will not take any Capoeistra seriously, which is true.  Even though his training for the weekend was tough, I was actually glad he was the one who taught us.  (I just wish he could stay longer to teach us and train us~)

Artwork Update

If you've been visiting my deviantART account recently, then the drawings I'm about to show you will be nothing new of the sort:

If you people happen to remember the master copy of the homework I showed you people two blog entries ago, then you would know by now that this is the drawing I did myself after copying it.  I felt like adding some more shades to the work, because it looked fugly as it was by itself.  And even though a couple of people in deviantART liked this copy better than the master copy...umm...I still say I sort of screwed up the work, lol.

And last but not least...

Yup.  Tis a picture of my darling Azusa in all her gloriousness, done in Photoshop....my first time!  (And if you're wondering about the hand being so big, its because I made it that way on purpose.  She's doing her little 'V' sign to the people in the audience up-close, so I gave the hand a close-up, just in case any of you were confused about this; and I apologize for that, I should have drawn the whole body to give a better understanding of my drawing.

But...all in all, I'm proud of this work.  (Now if only I can learn on how to create a background with photoshop, then my path to the dark side will finally be complete, huhuhuhu...)

Just a moment ago right now, because of all them [blind] contour drawings I had to do tonight (which God help me, because it got repetitive in doing just contour drawings for 4 hours nonstop), I decided to put them contour skills to good use, and decided to try and copy some person's artwork that I found on imageshack.com.  So by that I mean: No pencil, no nothing.  Just went straight into inking on a blank sheet of paper.

I tried it on the first artwork I saw, which is this:

(Now that I look at it, the drawing doesn't look that bad, because I half-assed my way copying this drawing in only 10-15 minutes.)

And last, I tried my contour drawing skills on artwork #2:

Oh hey, I accidentally 'zoomed in' while inking.  Oh well, trial-and-error I always say.  This drawing also took about 10-15 minutes.

So overall with the two drawings, it took me about 20-30 minutes to outline the characters without even daring to make basic guidelines, which leads me to the question: How long will it take me before I can draw like the pros and pull out artwork from my rectum?  Can anyone answer that for me?  <__<"

Anime Update

Pani Poni Dash! the dubbed version will be put on hiatus at the moment (since the 3rd DVD volume isn't out yet [DAMNIT!]), so I'm watching my good ol' drama anime, Kanon.  Its great to see Kanon alive and kicking again, but...*sniff* I'm seriously not looking forward to seeing the ending all over again.  (It brings back horrible memories when I watched the old version of Kanon.  I cried for about a good 5 minutes non-stop because of the ending Kanon produced, seriously; and I already cried when the remake of Kanon showed Makoto's story, let alone Mai and Shiori's side of the story.  ~_~,  )  But *sigh* the tragedy that the anime company (i.e. Aquaplus) created is what makes Kanon so great, and why Air was so great to watch.

But enough of that, I'm starting to get depressed~  <_<

Videogame Update

So I was playing Lost Planet the other day, and I was like...hell yeah!  Though I can see why X-Play gave that game a 4 out of 5.   The storyline can be somewhat misleading, the controls are somewhat eww, and after beating the game, its something you don't feel like playing again.  (Like...one of them one time wonders~)  But overall, a very good game; I won't be picky about it and compare to something like Gears of War, lol.  But seriously...Capcom, you need to get your act together.  If you guys REALLY want people to respect you again after your  oh so horrible 'Megaman franchises', then you better get your act together.

I mean, Dead Rising was great, but it lacked sedulity.  Go back to your Resident Evil 4 routes, find out how you made a game like THAT so great, and apply those methods.  (But don't make it so obvious that you made a bootleg version of Resident Evil 4; just take examples of what made the game so good, and then put it into your action, shooting, racing games, etc etc and so on and so forth.  [Probably do that for Megaman if you even bother to go back to that again, because the blue dude in tight spandex is pleading for help~])
